Wholesale prices fall by 66% year-on-year

The Austrian Energy Agency will be publishing additional energy price indices for electricity and gas from the end of the year. The pluralisation of the indices is intended as an independent information service to reflect the diversity and new dynamics of the market better.

Researchers from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), the Austrian Energy Agency (AEA), and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) demonstrate how Austria can achieve zero emissions of climate-damaging greenhouse gases by 2040.

Wholesale prices fall by more than 70 % year-on-year

The annual Renewable Gases Conference organised by the Renewable Gases Service Centre took place yesterday. The conference provided an important platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and cooperation in the field of renewable gases. In order for these to be used as an important component of a renewable energy future, framework conditions and a structured expansion are needed above all.
